Dear Dr. McKeeman:


Perhaps you don't  remember me.  I worked  with Steve Russell  on the
development of THOR many years  ago. I am currently at the  A.I. labs
but spent the previous two   years teaching at UCLA.  I  developed an
undergraduate version of McCarthy's CS206 course there and would like
to teach a similar course again.

McCarthy has read the course notes and said they "aren't bad".   I am
currently  revising and expanding the notes while teaching  a reading
and  research  course  to  a graduate  student  at  the  labs.   I am
enclosing outlines of both  versions.  If there is an  opportunity to
teach such a course at Santa Cruz I would be interested.
